I Put a Spell on You -- Voodoo Brewery Review
Finding a place for a big group of people to go can be difficult, and sometimes it is even more difficult to try and get everyone to agree on one place. A couple weekends ago, my family was in town and we decided to invite some of my friends and their families as well, and this was the recipe for a disaster. Everyone wanted something different to eat and some were over 21 years old and some were younger. We found Voodoo Brewery on TripAdvisor and decided to check it out, and spoiler, we really liked it!
Voodoo Brewery is on State Street in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania but have five other locations in Pennsylvania. The one we went to on State Street has three different menus which are the express lunch, Sunday brunch, and their regular menu. We were able to walk in through their open garage doors and sit at one of their very long tables that fit all of us. Since Voodoo is more for the intention of people drinking the employees do not come to your table to take your order, instead you go up to their counter to order drinks and food. Once your order is ready your buzzer goes off and you pick up your food from the kitchen counter.
We had their regular menu which pretty much had everything that anyone could find something they like. From pizzas to sandwiches to salad the menu is covered with delicious items and has classics with a twist. They have an array of burgers that have many different ingredients that make them not so basic or you could just create your own burger.
My family, my friends, and their families all enjoyed being able to sit down at one table for a casual meal together and are excited to go back to try some more menu items. The adults all liked the drinks they ordered and some even tried some they normally would not order for a change.
Voodoo Brewery is located at 101 Boston Store Place, Erie, PA
